While busy paying her dues as a struggling blues singer,
learning along the way, Susan Angeletti never forgot her
rock n roll roots... Enter Guitarist-rocker Bruce Korona .Bruce has been
logging the rock n roll miles for a good while now, he has been in several
Northeast touring bands including the very in demand: 'Back in Black" AC/DC
tribute band, and many other groups. Susan & Bruce were taken aback by each
others sounds and style and influences...and talk of putting a group
together just made sense and was an easy fit. Susan & Bruce started jamming
together and writing songs in late 2008'. Now in 2009, the result is a high
energy rock n roll, n blues influenced band, with a lot of power and soul,
and varied influences from AC/DC to Janis Joplin, to Johnny Winter, Muddy
Waters & Gov't Mule, Aerosmith, Tina Turner & The Rolling Stones.
Susan & Bruce are churning out some great new rock and roll tunes. Songs
like "Wisdom" - a classic 70's sounding rocker type ballad ala Lynyrd
Skynyrd & Pearl Jam soars n soothes all at same time. Susan & Bruce penned
the soulful and moving rock ballad "Eye to Eye", think John Hiatt or Bruce
Springsteen ...They also penned the blues rocker " Got to Have You Baby"
which would make Johnny Winter proud with its fast barroom boogie woogie
blues rock sound, with Susan's voice soaring over the top like a surfer!
Then there is the real rocker "Hypnotized" shows off the strength n range of
Susan's powerful vocals, with the guitar by Korona nodding to the classic
70's rock guitar sounds of rockers Joe Perry &
Jimmy Page.Susan's voice
pulls you back to hard drivin' soaring vocals of Ann & Nancy Wilson from the
band Heart and of amazing rock singer Pat Benatar!!
The new Wisdom Cd features: Paul Dawicki on drums, Bruce Korona on guitar,
Paul Dabrowski on bass, Ted Wert on Hammond B-3 organ & Susan Angeletti all
lead vocals n some background vocals. Plus Jami-d, Leah Kunkel n Carlos
Anderson all on background vocals, and special guest guitarists: Tom
Filiault & Chris Piquette also on guitar! The new Wisdom CD was recorded &
coproduced by stellar rock engineer Jim Fogarty at the amazing Zing Studio..
